Strategic Plan

A Downtown Strategic Plan (DSP) is a detailed plan for executing the projects and programs that will achieve our revitalization goals. It is an implementation guidebook, including: 

• Public Projects (parks, signage, streetscape elements) 
• Built Environment (privately owned buildings)
• Community (branding, beautification)
• Policies and Programs (enforcement, funding applications) 

And, it identifies a list of funding sources, committed organizations, timelines, and designs for development. 

The DSP comes directly from our Local Waterfront Revitalization Program - a document that reviewed our assets, goals, and needs - adopted in 2012. 

We’ve had a decade to firm up how we’d like to pursue those goals, and have implemented many successes since then. 

Now, we’re ready to detail - and put into action - our next decade!
